Autoclave and Sterilisation:
General Tips

Each autoclave is slightly different, so it is important to follow the user manual from your manufacturer for any
long-term shutdown procedures.

Here are some general tips to follow.

• Clean the door seal with a lint free cloth and distilled water only.
  Remove the trays and tray cage and wipe out chamber with lint free cloth and distilled water only.
• If staining present, remove using a nonabrasive scotch pad or similar; do not use a metal scrubber or chemicals.
• Drain both the dirty and clean water tanks (if applicable); if you can, clean the inside of both tanks with a lint free cloth.
• If applicable, remove the chamber filter and clean off any lint; replace when completed.
